Get ahead of the Curve!

We are hours away from 2019 — resolution time! How many times have you created New Years Resolutions and don’t follow through? I have fallen into that hum drum routine over and over again. Every year something happens that we may not have control over and then our resolutions get shoved aside which is understandable. It is important to recognize why you were not able to complete that resolution but don’t live in the past. We can always do better the next year. Also, many of us make lofty goals that are impossible to attain in a year so instead try easing into your New Years Resolution. Even if you ultimately want to lose 50 lbs, don’t focus on the amount but how you are going to get there. Here are some examples to simplify resolutions for 2019:

1. I’m going to stick to a fitness plan that works well with my schedule.

2. Work has been stressing me out, I will develop a meditation practice 3-5 min 5 days a week.

3. This year I’m going to stop looking at e-mails 2 hours before I go to bed.

4. New Years Resolution: Eat more whole foods and reduce processed foods.

5. My water intake is poor so I’m going to download an H20 app to start tracking my daily consumption.

6. I will save more money this year by home-cooking most of my meals, reduce my spending on wants vs needs, and purchase products/services that will benefit my NEW healthy lifestyle.
