Episode 11: Reduce Stress by Embracing the Nature Around You

When I think of all the trips I’ve taken in my adult life, nature is the number one. I absolutely love getting outdoors, taking a hike, and just enjoying whatever adventures lie ahead of me.

You learn so much more about yourself than you would ever imagine!

For today’s episode, I was sitting on a porch, swinging, on a bench, watching a creek, and it is just absolutely breathtaking. It reminds me that I don’t need to go so fast and always grab my phone, or even talk. The silence and embracing nature around you are so magical. I never traveled much outdoors on hikes as a kid, but as an adult every time I do it I feel much lighter. There’s this air about me that I never knew existed.

During today’s episode, I want you to think of a time where you might have been out of your comfort zone yet, completely relaxed. Once you have this experience, I like to simply think about it and it makes me feel better. I want you to be able to take that experience with you wherever you go if you ever feel anxious or stressed.
